Access & Login

In order to begin using the American Science Cloud, you will need an account with which to access the platform. These instructions will guide you through applying for an account, and then logging in once the account is created.

Apply for access to AmSC using your Institutional Login Credentials (BYOA: bring your own account model)

Please follow these instructions if your institution is listed in the OIDC dropdown

  1. Navigate to the AmSC Portal.
  2. Click Login with OIDC Credentials and search for your organization in the dropdown. This will redirect you to the login page for your organization.
  3. Login with your institutional credentials.
  4. Complete the form requiring additional information and submit it. Remember to save the application confirmation number (UUID) for your records.
  5. Wait to receive information about your AmSC access.

After receiving confirmation, you can log in to the the AmSC Portal and navigate the platform to use AmSC services.

Apply for an AmSC Account if your institution is not listed

If your institution is not listed as an option via the Login with OIDC Credentials button, you will need to apply for an AmSC Account. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the AmSC Portal.
  2. Click Account Application.
  3. Complete the application form and submit it. Remember to save the application confirmation number (UUID) for your records.
  4. Wait to receive information about your account, which will include your login credentials.

Once you have an AmSC account, you can log in to the AmSC Portal and navigate the platform to use AmSC services.
